This year we are heading back to the high desert in April and October for two amazing weekends full of traditional climbing, crack climbing, and enjoying the crown jewel of Mojave Desert, Joshua Tree National Park!
Twelve lucky ladies will have the opportunity to climb at some of Joshua Tree’s most coveted rock climbing crags with our all female, AMGA certified team. All three days will be packed with fun climbing for all abilities, technical clinics introducing you to outdoor climbing, while diving deeper into the traditional gear and techniques, and trying out the variety of climbing styles that Joshua Tree offers at each crag! Joshua Tree is known for it’s funky trees, wild rock formations and amazing high desert vibes. It also happens to have the highest concentration of climbing throughout North America! From slab climbing and hand jams, to off-widths and everything in-between, join us for one of these incredible weekends as we dive into the wonderful world of traditional climbing! And as always, we will be spending three nights camping just outside of Joshua Tree National Park!
Ladies Weekend Out’s goal is to foster a close-knit, supportive atmosphere where you’ll connect with like-minded women and receive dedicated, one-on-one guidance from experienced guides and instructors. 3 guided days of outdoor rock climbing instruction with our all female, professionally trained AMGA guide team

THURSDAY
Arrive to camp anytime after 3:00 pm - location of camp will be sent out two weeks leading up to your weekend out. Once you’ve settled in, begin meeting your new climbing partners and friends for the weekend while enjoying snacks and beverages provided by our guide team. A formal briefing for the weekend will be held around 7:00 pm the first evening.
FRIDAY
Rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park! Outdoor rock climbing clinics will be facilitated throughout the day. Friday evening we’ll cozy up around the campfire and reminisce on the great first day we all just had.
SATURDAY
Rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park! Outdoor rock climbing clinics will be facilitated throughout the day. After our second day of rock climbing we’ll head into town for some tasty food and drinks to cap the day off (location TBD). A nighttime campfire will ensue during the after hours. ***Please note dinner and drinks are not included in the cost of the event***
SUNDAY
We’ll break down camp in the morning and head out no later than 8:00 am for our final day of rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park. Outdoor rock climbing clinics will be facilitated throughout the day. We'll end the day around 3:00 pm, pack up and head home.

All guests will be responsible for their own meals for the duration of the event. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, both at camp and in Joshua Tree National Park. Ladies Weekend Out will provide the campsites for all 3 nights with snacks & refreshments Thursday upon arrival.
